Magnetic resonance imaging shields

Magnetic resonance imaging shielding (Faraday cage) is an important system capable of creating an internal environment free of parasitic radio frequencies that could interfere with electro-medical equipment, altering the signal.

In the mod. ‘STEELMOD’ many humanizing accessories can be installed, with the aim of minimizing the sense of claustrophobia in people under diagnostic investigation.

Furthermore, cages with increased thicknesses can be created to help dynamic compensation systems for very low frequency disturbances caused by elevators, moving vehicles, railways and the like.

Experience and Know-how

The STEEL MOD model Faraday cages for MRI examination rooms have been manufactured by Quality Shielding Cage since 1998. They are made up of galvanized steel panels, joined by dense bolting, garnished with appropriate shielding meshes.

The internal spaces are covered with melamine-faced wood panels, or plasterboard, which can be easily painted, or covered in PVC.

Complete mounting kits can also be shipped everywhere and can be mounted by our personnel or by external crews (properly formed by us) in just a few days, providing a seamless and efficient installation experience and ensuring your MRI system is operational as quickly as possible.
